This is the first known environmentally-designed golf course built over a public landfill. This regulation eighteen hole course is situated in an environmental preserve, along the Atlantic Coast. From the hole on #8, "The Widow's Walk," there is a fantastic view of Cape Code and on a clear day, Boston can also be seen. There is an abundance of wildlife that can be seen in and around the golf course. The course is challenging due to numerous trees around the fairways, many out-of-bounds areas and the fairways being very narrow in width. "Golf Digest" selected this course 9th on its list of "Best New Affordable Public Courses" for 1998. The 5,482-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 70.9 and slope of 119.

| Tough course with a lot of trees and elevation change. The course layout is visually challenging. Price is fair. Will play again. |
