Wemberly Hills Golf Course

Scott Township, PA 18447

This course has been under new ownership since 1991, and the new owners have built a clubhouse, restaurant and bar, and are continuing to upgrade the course design. The course is currently in good condition, and the greens are well maintained. The flat terrain is easy to walk. Even though the fairways are tree lined, they still afford generous landing areas. The small greens are fast, and water hazards (ponds) come into play on two holes. Senior discounts are only available on weekdays before 1 PM.

deceivingly difficult., Jan 29, 2012
reviewer: puttnchip from justus pa
this course is really improved this last year, the greens are smooth and fast and they keep them watered and soft.great course to walk because no big hills,it is wide open and why there are no trees planted at certain areas is a mystery to me.the course layout is back and forth which is unimaginative but the difficulty is greater than any of the other local muni courses, suprising but true. Some holes are very difficult and long.good luck.

Meet your neighbor golf, Sep 18, 2005
reviewer: Sharon from Waverly, PA
The clubhouse featuring a broad deck and decent, inexpensive pubfood is the highlight of this course. The course itself is more a cowfield than a golf course. The unprotected, open fairways create real danger as it's very easy to get hit by an errant shot from a neighboring hole (I was hit once, and have seen others get hit). That said, it's a very inexpensive beginner course that is very pleasant to walk.
