This course's greens are large and vary in shape and undulation. The fairways are generous, but well bunkered. Water hazards (three ponds and several creeks) come into play on three holes, including #18, a 419-yard, par 4, which has a small pond guarding the front of the green. Bruce and Jerry Matthews designed nine new holes, which were added in 1972. There are early bird specials offered prior to 11 AM Monday through Friday.

| My family and I come to the Kalamazoo area because of the niceness of the entire area. One of the fun things to do is to play 18 at Indian Run. We have played three times in as many years and what is fun is the winding holes through the subdivision and the open fairways on the rest of the course. It is remote enough not to have everyone in town playing and close enough to Kalamazoo to not have to drive very far to get their, either. If you want a restful and enjoyable time, play this course. It is fun. |
