This links-style course features plenty of water hazards and sand bunkers. Large, red rocks backdrop many holes and add to the scenic beauty. The signature hole is #10, a 210-yard, par 3, which is highlighted by cathedral-sized rocks around the green. The Southwestern Section Seniors Tournament has been played here in the past. In 1996, "Golf Digest" rated the Sedona Golf Resort as the 4th "Best Public Course" in the State of Arizona. The same publication also rated it as the 10th "Best in State" course for 1995-96, and 13th in 1997-98. Pull carts aren't allowed on the course. The 5,637-yard men's tee also has a ladies' course rating of 70.6 and a slope of 116.

Scenery - Challenge - LOVE IT, May 18, 2009
reviewer: T Huseth from Sterling, IL
I visit Sedona annually and always make a point of playing this course. It is BEAUTIFUL!! Every hole has its own separate challenges. I can never get enough. #10 is the Signature Hole, a tough par 3, with a Fantastic View. My wife rides along, just to take pictures. You will never go wrong playing this course.

Beautiful and Challenging, Jun 04, 2008
reviewer: Tom from Connecticut
Great course that offers both a true golfing challenge and a beautiful setting. Several holes have jaw-dropping views of the local Red Rocks, including the Par 3 10th. Several tee choices give golfers from multiple skill levels an opportunity to enjoy the course and score well. I highly recommend playing this course for the golf and the views.
