  "best for price anywhere"
  Houston Oaks inspires me to dream of becoming a pro.The fairways are awesome you could put from 50 yds. out if you wanted.Always challenging yet rewarding all for under $30w/cart.

• Chaparral Country Club
  "Basic golf outing"
  In Bullhead City, the wind usually blows hard. This course is short, albeit somewhat challenging, because of the conditions played in. The fairways are unremarkable, the greens putt mostly true, although is tough to read. Usually putt the straight line and on the hard side to get them in. You won't need driver too often. Better than a kick in the head, but not the best golf around. Good practice.

• Throckmorton Country Club
  "The Best Little Course in West Texas!"
  This 9 hole course is the hardest little course I have ever played! If you think the Links is hard wait until you play this bad boy! The hardest hole would probably be #7. This par 5 may look easy when you step up on these elevated tee boxes but just wait until you tee off. Thats when the adventure begins. The second hardest would the #5. This par 4 dogleg right is probably the hardest par 4 on the course. Of course there are a few easy holes thrown in just so you don't lose your confidence. So if you are ever traveling through Throckmorton; be sure and stop to play "The Best Little Course in West Texas!"

  This was an excellent well maintained course. The rolling hills and challenging play is one of a kind for the area.
