This club claims that this is the oldest course in the State of Washington. The fairways are somewhat open, but they are all tree lined. The greens are flat, small, and medium speed. There is water that comes into play on four holes, and there are some sand bunkers positioned throughout the course. The signature hole, nicknamed "Lake Grabenstien" is #14, a 452-yard, par 4, which requires a tee shot over water to the fairway. The ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 67.2 and slope of 113.

| The Yakima Elks Club has a laid back atmosphere along with a lush, well-maintained golf course. You will enjoy teeing off to the wide fairways. The difficulty comes in hitting the smallish greens. The greens however, will hold and reward a good shot. Putts roll true on these medium speed greens. Although the course can play long because of the lush fairways that hold a tee shot from running a great distance, the ball sits up so nice you would think it was on a tee. You will rarely find a bad lie. A good course to play in the Yakima area. |

| I am a member of this club and play more than once a week. Terrain: flat Fairways: some mild undulations. Cut reasonably short. Rough: challenging. Always follow a ball bouncing into the rough until it stops and mark the spot based on landmarks such as trees. Rough is thick and balls can be hard to find. Water: pond in front of tee block on #14, plus a slough to the right. Creek in play on # 11 and #12. Creek in play also in front of tee blocks on #17. Greens: often fast. #4, 7, 10, 11, 14, and nasty par 3 # 16 are the most challenging. Highlight holes: #3. Long par 4 with double dog leg. Peacocks at the house off the green. #7 very steep green will cause score to soar if ball goes behind green. #10 big tree in the middle of the fairway. #18 watch the sand trap in front of the two tiered green. |
