This course features both narrow and open fairways. Water and trees come into play throughout the course, and the greens are well bunkered. The signature hole is #13, a 365-yard, par 4, requiring a lay-up tee shot in front of the lake, then an approach shot over the lake to the green.

Nice..., Jul 05, 2004

Nice course, some decent par 5's approaching 500 yards and challenging par 3's with minor hazards. No major hills, but you do get on top of things on the first and tenth tees. Bunkers are sand only, greens were pretty fast, the rough was fairly deep, fairways generally wide. You're not likely to lose a ball on this course. If you hit it a bit off center, the next fairway is your likely landing zone. Fun, a couple of chalenging dog legs, worth the reasonable fee. Try http://www.tidesgc.com for a better rate.

Could be nicer, Jun 09, 2004

The coarse is wide open, and you are never in trouble off the drive. They need to work on the fairways and greens; they are too dry and hard. My shots are very high, and I couldn't even make a mark on the greens.

Believe the low ratings, Mar 10, 2004
reviewer: Stan Martin from Ontario, Canada
I played the course for the first time on Monday, March 8th in 5+ hours, waiting on every shot. The course was clearly overbooked and lacked marshalls. The proshop staff were as indifferent as mentioned in other reviews. The condition was below average for the area. I played Imperial Lakes March 10th and for the same $38 green fee enjoyed a much, much better course design, conditioning and friendly staff ...in a 4 hour round!
