This course's front nine is hillier than its back nine. The views from off the course are very scenic. Dogwood and pine trees line the fairways on the front nine, and there is no rough to contend with. The back nine is wide open. Water hazards (two large ponds) come into play on two holes. The ladies' par is actually 76.

"Weekend Excursion"
It's the offseason now and we've just returned from 27 holes at Tamahka Trails. The rate was very reasonable, service second to none and the course ... well this old cajun boy has never played a finer course in his life and may never still. The people made us feel as though we never left our home town. They treat you with kindness and respect, catering to your every whim. Let me tell you it was one of the very best golf outings I've ever had (and plan to have again). If you would like to experience golf as it should be ... try Tamahka Trails. You won't be disappointed. And by the way ... for a course this nice the seasonal rates are good also. See you there ...

This is a wonderful course, beautifully maintained all around. The only possible knock is that if you haven't been playing for very long then it might be too difficult to you. None the less, its a must play for anyone who gets the chance.

Midlakes Club
"Outstanding lake views"
Midlakes was a joy to play, the expansive views of Skaneateles Lake were unlike any I have seen in this area of New York. Fairways were lush, lots of tee choices, but a bit short. Still was challenging though for us average golfers. 5 stars for the scenery, 3-4 for the rest.
