This course has large greens, so three putting is a common occurrence. The course is located in a heavily wooded area and features several moderate elevation changes. One of the local U.S. Open qualifiers is held here every other year. Water hazards come into play at least five times.

| I play Chartwell every day in the summer. It is a good solid golf course. The course can be quite asy at times, but provides a great time. By the way, the greens fees area is wrong it is not 20-49 dollars, it is closed to guests. |

| I have played many Clubs all over the country and for a local club Chartwell is one of the more difficult. The fairways and greens are always in great shape. I never get tired of playing this course. With the constant improvements and changes the course is more challenging each year. |
