| I have played this course many times this year for a variety of reasons. The first reason is the price. There is a special before 9 AM on weekdays for 18 holes and a cart $12 what a deal! Also its length is good mix for me from the back tees and my father who is 65 and plays the front tees. Big hitters dont look at the length and assume you can tear up this course. On the front there is some holes that are risk/reward and the back requires good driving to allow approach shots at the greens. Long hitters can easily reach 2/3 par 5s though. Greens are small and have great undulation. My one critique of the course is there are areas it needs to imrpove. There are bare patches in some fairways and greens. Enjoy the course and good luck! |

| This course has undergone some great improvements. The fairways are now bentgrass and there is a lot of new drainage being placed for quicker recovery from rains. The greens seem to be improving as well. The course has also placed new gravel cart paths. There is alot of grounds maintainence on the course and seems grass growth is suffering this year from the high heat. I do believe though if paitent this will be a favorite to play in the next couple years!! |

| Deer Pass came under new management in early last year and the improvements are in leaps and bounds. They are in the process of adding cart paths as well new tee boxes and greens. The fairways have new drainage placed and are adding more. The conditions of the fairways are will be some of the best in the very near future. Many improvements to the club house as well. The ownership and staff are very courteous and make your day great one. I predict this will be a highly rated course within the next two years play it and see what you think, keep up the great work Deer Pass. |
