This is a very scenic and hilly course. The signature hole is #8, a 647-yard, par 5, with a dogleg right fairway and requiring a shot over two bodies of water. Water hazards come into play on seven other holes, including #11, 12, 13, and 14.

THE COURSE HAS BEEN CLEANED UP, AND THE GREENS ARE GETTING BETTER. ITS FAIRWAYS ARE WIDE OPEN AND WELL GROOMED. NICE COURSE FOR BEGINERS.

Years ago this was probably one of the better laid out courses in the 70's but is not taken care of any more. The fairways were thick and the greens were torn up.

Nice Course In Its Day. Currently Needs Work. Greens Are Sloppy, And Fairways Are Rough And Rocky. COOLERS ARE ALLOWED !!! Not Very Crowded. Carts Are Run Down, But Serve Purpose.

Willow Springs Country Club
"Scottish track with many nuances"
I am a member at Willow Springs. Although not the longest of courses, it will teach you all the shots you need to know. The course is always in playable condition and is a challenge for all golfers, I myself being a scratch golfer.

Valencia Country Club
"Valencia CC -- one of the finest in the U.S."
Valencia CC is a gorgeous layout and wonderful design that only gets better with maturity. This Robert Trent Jones course is a truly great test of golf. Demanding par fives and threes along with several of the finest par fours I've ever played make for a challenging and wonderful round. The 66,000 sq. ft. clubhouse with wonderful restaurant, grill room, snack bar, and great pro shop make this one of the most beautiful settings there is to play a round of golf. The practice facilities are absolutely great. This is one of the top 100 golf courses in the United States.

Santa Teresa Golf Club - Nine Hole Course
"Santa Teresa Golf"
Santa Teresa's 9 hole course is a really good course for those just starting out. The course offers a challenge to beginner golfers. I'd recommend this course to all who want to play a short course.

Willow Run Golf Club
"GPO-27"
Some of the holes are short but with the smaller greens and water meandering around the course it makes you think as to what club to scale back to as well as making sure you don't do too much slicing. Most of the holes you can hit right at the hole if you have a high 8,9 or PW. You have to be careful off the tee on some holes due to the water running across the fairway. The back nine has some undulating fairways. The largest green seems to be No. 18 and it slopes quite a bit downward from back to front. The fairway grass has gotten better over the years since it was known as SLOCUM golf course. The staff is friendly and accommodating.
