Please update the page for Western Reserve. This course has been closed now for 5 years. It was a good course with great people running the show. Club Pro Bill Giles was the best ever! Anyway the corse is no longer there

I'LL MISS WESTERN, May 18, 2004
reviewer: Frank(G CLAY) from ATLANTA
I live in Ga but go to Sharon every year, Started going there when Bernie ran Things, Then met Bill Giles, when he was the golf pro there. Cant say enough about the people that worked there. The course was just ok, But when Giles got there you could tell things were going in the right direction...It's a real shame... Sill have the first western hat I ever got. Loved the 18th hole.

Goodbye Western Reserve, Mar 21, 2004
reviewer: Mike B. from Sharon Center, Ohio
Course closed in 1999. Land was sold at auction on March 20, 2004. 127 acres of what will soon be an upscale housing development. Clubhouse still standing. Vandals have removed all windows.
