This course's large and undulating greens are fast. The fairways are open and well maintained. No water comes into play, but there are numerous sand bunkers and out-of-bounds stakes protecting many holes. "Golf Digest" rated this as the 2nd "Best New Private Course" in America for 1995, and they also rated it as the 6th "Best in State" course for 1997-98. "GOLFWEEK" selected it 23rd among "America's 100 Best Modern Courses" for 1997, 37th for 1998 and 35th for 1999.

"Nice course but difficult to get on........"
This is a great course, provided you can get on it. Always packed, best course in the area by far....I played here once and I am a resident, that shows you how hard it is to get a tee time here, used to be they only wanted non-residents because they pay more to play, (residents get a great discounted rate)...bad management idea there, of course residents complained and alot has changed....if you get the chance to play here by all means do it...you wont regret it...

"Money Hill - a truly exceptional course!"
From the tremendous elevation changes to the challenging design, Money Hill is far and away the best golf course in Louisiana! The course is very well maintained and always looks stunning! The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and overly welcoming. The Practice Facility is the best I have seen anywhere in the country. If you ever have a chance to play at Money Hill, don't pass up the opportunity!

"A great pitch-and-putt"
Although part of it will soon be bulldozed for a car dealership, I highly reccomend getting there while it's still a full 18 holes! Some holes are lacking in creativity, but quite a few give tricky shots over bunkers, mounded terrain, and alongside the Hockanum River. It's relatively affordable, and a fun way to kill an hour and a half or so.
