This hilly course has fantastic scenery. The greens are fast, and the tree-lined fairways are narrow. A creek comes into play on several holes. There are two par 3's that require tee shots from off a cliff. Bill Leonard and Dutch McLellan redesigned this course. Weekend green fee rates include Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Typical Muni, Sep 12, 2007

This is is a typical muni course with nice cinditions for greens most tees but terrible rough. Rough is not watered and it shows. Great viw from 9 & 18 tees. These are very interesting holes.

This has got to be the best golf course i have ever played on. Its always really green and the trees are beautiful. There are some challenging and very fun holes. I think this is one of the best courses in Kansas, plus, the price isn't too expensive. And the 18th hole is a par three that is easy to see the green and it drops around 200 ft from the tees to the green!

Nice course, one of the best for the cost in all of Johnson County. Hole 9 and hole 18 tee shot from the cliff. Great views.

Wynstone is situated on a topographically diverse landscape, unbecoming of many Chicagoland golf venues. It has abundant wildlife which adds to the course's balance between a parkland and wetland. Wynstone also offers a unique challenge for any golfer. Not only is the golf course difficult at 7,000+ yards, but also presents a challenge to any comers at 6,500. good course - great value. i cant believe how inexpensive this course is for how well it is maintained. even if youre not form the area, make sure you plan a round here at least once a year. great service. and ignore what this website says about 'closed on mondays', because its open.
