This is a fairly tight course. The fairways are heavily tree lined, and with the exception of two holes, play straightaway. This course has only a few greenside bunkers. The toughest hole is #8, a 547-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot past a lake on the left side of the green and a large bunker on the right. Ben Wihry designed two new holes in 1974. The course is open to the public before noon Wednesday through Friday. The 5,231-yard ladies' tee also has a men's course rating of 65.3 and a slope of 112.

| It's not long but it is demanding. Tough greens, most always in great condition. Control and patience is key here. A great value. |
