Nice course, bad attitude, Nov 02, 2010

I really love the course. Its a shame every time I call the same woman answers the phone. She has a BAD attitude. I really wanted to like this place but when the help sucks, I just play somewhere else like Mullenhurst. Its a shame too, I only live 5 minutes from there. Here's a word of advise for golf course managers. There are a lot of places to play golf in West Mich, and it doesnt take a lot to make someone play elsewhere. I personally would drive 10 minutes further and pay more for a better golf experience regardless of the course condition.

Bass Rocks Golf Club
"A Classic golf Course"
Bass Rocks in my opinion is an ideal kind of golf course. Every time you play is different. The winds off the ocean can be a help at times. However, other times it can play havoc with your game. The course forces you to play almost every kind of shot there is. From high flops to knock downs, it will test your game. The staff is second to none. Friendly and always willing to offer a tip or two that will help make your round more enjoyable. The members make you feel right at home. Like they have known you for years, even if you just met. In my personal opinion, every town should have a club like Bass Rocks.

This is one of the great old valley courses. Ancient oaks line the fairways kept to Championship standards. This is a must-play for all golfers in the immediate area. The price is ideal, the employees are pleasant, and the course is challenging and fair.

Nice Club! Clean, well-run, and good coarse layout! Me and a friend played this course yesterday... the 1st hole is a temporary parking lot and it is replaced by the driving range area which has been converted into a boring first hole. the course is poorly maintained and mostly boring. it is full of longer par 3's considering it is an executive course. if it was cheaper it would be worth it possibly if it was under 10 dollars a round.
