This community course has minimal water hazards and only a few trees and hills, and beginners will enjoy playing here. The signature hole is #9, a 320-yard, par 4, requiring a 200-yard tee shot in order to carry the lake. The back nine was added in 1986 and designed by Sammy Tilford.

Absolutely the worst course I have played, May 26, 2009 |

| No starting times. For beginners only. Extremely poor maintenance, flat as a pancake, must pay full price for a cart if only 1 riding (better have an even number of players). I will never go back. |

| Not sure what the other guys problem was. Probably upset for being asked to leave because he acted like an idiot on the course. However, Maplehurst is a fun course to play, and compared to other public courses it's in fantastic shape. The wide-open fairways, the water hazards and sand make it a fun experience everytime out for the weekend or beginning golfer. Only downside...no beer sales on Sunday. But is that really thier fault? |

| this course could be so much more. but the dried up lakes and sand and dirt greens make for a lousy course. never will play it again. |
