Overpriced and Poorly Kept, May 21, 2010 |

| This course is overpriced and poorly kept. It definitely epitomizes a lynx course with large bunkers and tall grass, sometimes the grass growing out of the bunkers. If you don't mind the a poorly kept, overpriced course, this course does provide a few challenges: length, extremely long rough (stay in the fairway), several ponds, huge bunkers, etc. The excellent feature of this course is shot planning. If you hit for length and not for placement, your score will suffer. |

TRUE LINKS COURSE, Oct 23, 2004 |

| I HAVE PLAYED ALL OVER LONG ISLAND AND THIS COURSE REALLY SEEMS TO HAVE ALL THE GREAT CHARACTERISTICS OF A TRUE LINKS STYLE COURSE. NOT VERY LONG BUT THICK ROUGH , MANY POT BUNKERS, AND FAST GREENS MAKE IT A CHALLENGE FOR ANY GOLFER. MANY RISK REWARD HOLES CAN PUT YOU IN TROUBLE QUICK. ALL IN ALL A GOOD GOLFING EXPERIENCE. |

Stay Out Of The Grass !, Jun 25, 2004 |

| Nice course, good condition, friendly staff. This is not a difficult course, you don't have to hit it long but you must at all costs stay out of the Tall Grass ! Usually plays at a pretty fast pace during the week. They keep the place in very nice shape. If you can hit the fairway you can score very well here, leave the driver in the bag and watch your score drop ! Irons off most tee's are all you need. Two driveable 4's for those who like a challange. |

| One of the best courses in Long Island. Spectacular well thought out routing, classic golf style. Bunkering is unique and classical. Not to be missed. The architect is Gil Hanse who will someday be very well known. |
