im novice. i have played little and last year (2009) was my first year i actully got out i have enjoyed this course alot not only is the staff very friendly but, i found its a great course to grow with. the 27 holes are veyr well played and set up to my standerds and have found a home within this course the rates resonaible and i enjoyed this course the entire season and will in near years of my new found hobby.

Marshall Canyon Golf Club
"Trickier than you think and don't EVER walk."
Marshall Canyon is a fun course with some quirky holes but for the most part it is pretty fair. The greens are trickier than you think and there are some hole placements that totally suck if you get above the hole. It is a hilly course that you don't want to walk unless you are in very good walking shape. All in all, it is a good course with a decent price.

This course is short with the lonest hole being 440 yards. Water comes in to play on 5 holes. There are sand traps on most of the holes. The course is in good condition. Great for begginers of high handicappers.
