This short course can be difficult for beginners. There are no sand bunkers, but water hazards come into play three times. The greens are small and framed by both trees and bayous. The signature hole is #3, a 135-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot to a green that is guarded by trees on the right and a pond on the left. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men. The scorecard doesn't show handicaps for individual holes.

Going to improve! Under new management., Oct 15, 2008

Nice course. Very freindly employees. The new manager has very good intensions and high expectations about whats in store for the new improved Champion Links. First time I played I got a hole in one on hole 7, a 97 yard par 3. The greens are in bad shape right now 10/08 but they are being re-seeded. The entire course is built on short iron use. Longest hole is 180 yards. I recommend this course to the weekend warrior or to people needing short iron and wedge practice.

OK maintained par 3 course. Good place to practice short to mid irons. Easy to walk, even for my 82 year old father!

This is a nice par-3 course to go out to and whack a few balls around with the family without having to worry about getting in the way of more serious golfers.

This course stinks. The grass on the greens is 4 inches tall ,but they do have a helpful driving range.
