This rigorous course is highlighted by all the water hazards and trees that were incorporated into its design. The fairways are plush, but the rough is sparse. The undulating greens are fast, and the terrain is extremely hilly, so expect some uneven lies. The signature hole is #11, a 546-yard, par 5, requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee up a narrow fairway, then an uphill approach shot to a green protected on the left by a lake and on the right by a large sand bunker. Jeff Brauer designed the back nine, which was added in 1987.

| A great course considering the circumstances. Anyone who knows anything about the soil in that area where the course is would be highly impressed at how well the course actually is. The golf pro/manager is a great guy. Go out and give this course a try...you will like it. |

Newly renovated and great layout, Dec 14, 2004 |

| The golf course has the best layout in town. The course is wet, but given the rain over the last few months what else can you expect. The new renovation is cool and very challenging. I was surprised that the membership dues are as affordable as they are. Value wise, probably the best deal in town. Will play again! |

| Hole #7 will test your courage. A 200 yard tee shot to carry the lake leaving you with a decision to go for the green or lay up in front of the same lake for your second shot on this difficult par 4. #9 is a tough par 4 dog-leg right, blind second shot into the pin. #18 is a long par 4 with trouble to be found everywhere. #11 is a par 5 requiring a touch 3rd shot to the green. Water on the left, sand in front, mounds and water behind. Challenging! |
