This course features narrow, tree-lined fairways. The terrain is rolling, and the greens are medium-sized and extremely fast. There are several creeks and drainage ditches that cross the fairways and force lay-ups or long carries. The signature hole is #9, a 565-yard, par 5, requiring uphill shots from tee to green. Leon Howard (1958), Joe Finger (1960) and Dave Bennett (1990) have done redesigns on the course.

Very helpful staff, great fairways, and well-kept greens. Pro shop leaves a lot to be desired.

Glen Garden Golf & Country Club
"History"
Glen Garden is a great place for Golfers of all ages. Playing on the course, it is easy to see how it produced such greats as Hogan and Nelson. They have the classic postage stamp greens. You must be accurate with your approach shot or you will miss the green. It is a great course for beginners as there are relatively few holes where a bad shot will lose your ball. The pace of play is very relaxed and the course staff are over the top friendly. The only down side to Glen Garden is that when it was built it was out in the country (1912?). In the 1950's Fort Worth grew and houses went up all around the course. Unfortunately these houses we small wooden houses and over the years it has become the bad side of town. There have been huge efforts by the local population over the last ten years to clean things up but it will take time. I highly recommend a visit to Glen Garden for any golfer. If you have an interest in history you will find it fantastic to consider you are walking on holy grounds.

Good condition, straight forward and fun to play. Plays shorter than the yardage and the ball tends to feed towards the fairways. Greens are very nice. It is an enjoyable experience and a pretty place to play. I recommend it to anyone heading to California's Antelope Valley.

Sunset Hill Golf Club
"Sunset is an awesome course!"
Sunset Hill is an awesome course. I play on a high school golf team, and its our practice course. But after season is over, we have to start paying to play golf again. The one thing that Sunset is good for is that it's cheap and reliable. I as a high school athelete, don't feel like paying 50 dollars to go play some course with a tee time that is just horrible. Sunset on the other hand has a low price thats friendly to the everyday golfer. So it might not be in the best shape, but its fun to play because there is no rush and its cheap to play. All in all, its an awesome course!
