The Nantucket Golf Club, located on the island of Nantucket, is a heathlands course that presents a variety of challenges. Due to the proliferation of fairway sand bunkers, and the native grassland rough, this course demands accuracy off the tee. The naturally rolling terrain contributes to the tight play of the fairways, and the moderately undulating greens are complimented by an abundance of sand bunkers. Strong winds, common to Nantucket, add another dimension of difficulty. Nowhere is this more evident than on hole #7, a 471-yard, par 4. The buffeting headwinds and deep fairway bunkers to the left, call for thoughtful shot selection. This is an extremely challenging course that has a high risk and reward factor and never plays the same way twice. "Golf Digest" ranked this course #1 on its list of "Best New Private Courses" for 1998. "Golf Magazine" chose it 57th on its 1999 list of the "Top 100 Courses in the U.S." Power carts are only available for individuals with a physical disability. Due to the private nature of the club, fees are not available for publication.

| Ummm.. Rick Juarez you might want to make sure that you actually played The Nantucket Golf Club before you bad mouth everything. Unless you were disabled, you didn't have a cart. Every group that plays the course is REQUIRED to have a caddie, so I know the ball marks get fixed. And the Head Pro is one of the best in the business, and I personally know he would never treat a customer like that. Get your facts straight idiot. But if you were like this, I could see why someone would tell you to F off. |

Awful Experience, Nov 12, 2009 |

| Where to start: the kid taking the clubs out of my car (shirt not tucked in) dropped my clubs on the pavement and laughed. It seemed like every drive I hit in the fairway was lying in a divot (where's the maintence crew?). Then, my cart died on the 6th hole. I called the pro shop to have them bring me a new one and it took over 45 minutes. It seemed like no one fixed their ball marks on the green, or raked the bunkers. When I went to discuss this with the pro, he told me to go F myself. To cap it off, my chicken fingers were pink and chewy. If you're looking for a nice golf course on Nantucket... look elsewhere. |

Scottish Links meets American Smooth, Feb 19, 2004 |

| A Great course, with wonderfully challenging tee shots and treacherous greens. Beware as when the wind blows, this is as difficult a golf course as any scottish links. A warm friendly and welcoming clubhouse with exceptional service and attention to detail, an guest accomadation that rivals any of the best 5 star hotels the U.S has to offer. |
