the course was not very challenging , probly not even for a beginer golfer, the folks there were nice but you have very slow service and there is no dicipline on the course

Course is in the best shape I have ever seen. Seems like everything is coming together great, everyone is on the same page. Good people, good golf, and a very nice pool and tennis courts. Cart sheds and food are great. Pro is a very good teacher and person. Pro shop is supplied very well.

Players Club, The
"Fair and enjoyable"
The Players Club is a wonderful course that requires consistency and patience. The layout is not overly diffucult, yet there are holes that can come up and bite you if you are not careful as to where you place your ball. This course will reward the consistent ball striker. There is a great variety of holes at the Players Club, which will keep the golfer coming back for more and keep him from getting bored with the same types of holes. A great course!!

Cyprian Keyes Golf Club - Championship Course
"One of the best in New England"
After playing Cyprian Keyes numerous times, I believe that it is one of the best upscale public courses in New England. The location is easy to get to, the staff treats you as if you were a member at a private club and the golf course is magnificent. It is difficult and some holes are narrow but after you play it once, you'll love it. I have always found it in superb condition and there are always numerous groundskeepers filling divots on the tees and fairways. Your review says that the greens are fairly slow but I have found the speed to be just right and is well matched to the undulating greens. If they were much faster, they would be difficult to putt. I have played most of the newer public courses in Central New England and Cyprian Keyes is my #1 choice.

Brookside Golf Club - Number Two Course
"Good course long Par 4's"
This course is pretty good considering it consists of alot of par 4 holes. The greens and fairways are kept in good shape. The only problem is the abundance of golfers waiting to get on. Expect to wait 10 to 15 minutes per hole on weekends. If you put yourself on the waiting list your looking to get on in 40 min. to and Hour. Your best bet is to get a tee time and sometimes that can be inpossible.
