Beautiful course, well maintained. Can be tough on holes. Lots of hills and often times you cannot see the green from your lye. Enjoyed it!

DON’T play for “LUNCH included” package.., Jul 26, 2007
reviewer: Andrew Cong from Baltimore, MD
Hampshire Green is too expensive for playing golf in other people backyard. Food service is the worse in Maryland.

Hampshire Greens, Sep 30, 2004

Hampshire Greens is a bit overrated and pricy but worth playing. Try it with the special rate offers for play after 4pm. The fairways are thin bent grass and when play is limited to cart path only, is very slow, though in all fairness, most of the time you can enter and exit using the 90 degree rule from designated places in the rough. Staff is professional and holes all have their own individual character. I give it 3 stars becuse a nearby course called Trotters Glen has been give 2 stars by the reviewer and this course is much better when you compare and contrast it with Trotters but not worth the money compared to Northwest Park, Needwood and Laytonsville, all close by courses.
