This is a course that is very challenging and well maintained. There is water that comes into play on four holes. The course is hilly and has a fair amount of trees. The large greens are undulating and some are elevated.

Wonderful condition. Greens were smooth with good speed and fairways were firm and thick. If played from the tips this couse can play very long, over 7000 yards. You must hit fairways to score, some fairways seem narrow from the back tees (driver is not always best).

Oakmont Country Club
"Tough but Fair"
Oakmont is a picturesque layout in the foothills of Glendale with lovely mountain views. The course is an old-style country club layout which rewards well planned out shotmaking. The greens are usually very fast and reward players for being below the hole. The Pac-10 Conference Championship was held at Oakmont in 2003 and only two players broke par (288) in a field of 50. The players found the par 3's particularly challenging. The greens are very well protected with sand bunkers and the fairways are heavily tree-lined. Best time to play Oakmont is in the spring and fall. I find the twelfth hole to be the most challenging. It is a 420 yard par four, uphill and terraced. The green is long and narrow, two-tiered and protected by a large bunker on the right and a drop-off hill and trees on the left.

Indian Creek Golf Course - Red Feather/Blackbird Course
"Enjoy"
The course is well maintained and the greens are fast and contoured. The back tees play over 7,000 yards long. Green fees are a little pricey. Red Feather and Blackbird are far more difficult than Grey Hawk. Grey Hawk is shorter and more forgiving. Blackbird is very long and the topography is hilly. Red Feather is the flattest of the 3 nines, but it is very tight and water does come into play. Most greens have lots of roll to them and require well placed shots in order to score well. The course was enjoyable to play.

Oak Hills Country Club
"Best course in Omaha"
This course is challenging and the staff is caring and great to be around. Front nine and back differ greatly. The front requires long drives and a good short game while the back is more target golf. Great diverse course for the whole family.
