This nine hole course is one of the most scenic in Central Oregon. This design includes fifteen large ponds and more than twenty-six unique crushed red volcanic rock bunkers. An additional nine holes are scheduled to open in the summer of 2000.

Fantastic Views at Aspen Lakes, May 21, 2004

This course is now 18 holes. The views of the Three Sisters range and other mountains in the Cascade Range are fantastic. For the price (around $50 for 18 as of May of 2004), there aren't many better options around. The "red rock" sand traps are unique. The clubhouse is still a temporary (a modular building). If you are in the Sisters, Oregon area, this one is worth checking out for yourself. There are some hikes between holes so a cart is a good idea.

"Not good any more."
The descripion of this course is 5 to 6 years outdated. It is not connected with the Oasis casino or the Palms golf course. Several of the holes have been changed to allow for more housing. The greens are one notch above sand greens. If you pay more than $50.00 to play it you paid too much.
