North Shore is always in a constant state of perfection. Whether it be in the heat of summer or cool of winter, this course is always maintained with a high degree of care not seen on any other course in this area. A must play if golfing in Onslow County.

My family has a house on Topsail Beach and I play the course whenever I'm down. From the the well manicured fairways to the beautiful surroundings I always have a great time. North Shore is without a doubt the best course in the area.

East Liverpool Country Club
"Links Course"
The East Liverpoool Country Club is a nine hole course. It features a links style course that has elevated greens on eight of the nine holes. Wooded areas and strategically placed bunkers add to the beauty and challange of the course. The entire course is served by an automatic watering system. The undulating greens can provide interesting pin placemets. The ninth and eighteenth holes are served by two different greens.

Tierra del Sol Golf Club
"Played Tierra del Sol many times"
Tierra del Sol is an excellent test of any golfers ability. Several holes present outstanding challenges with water, out-of-bounds, undulating terrain, and several difficult (blind) tee shots involved. The course becomes even harder when wind comes up as it often does in this Mojave Desert community. This is an outstanding course to play for the money. Only lack of conditioning excellence on some holes keeps this from rating higher.

"Westwinds - A shot makers course"
Bring every club in your bag and put your thinking cap on before coming to this course. Best bet is to go out with a member or get a yardage book and stay on track for a 4 hour round. Best quote out on the golf course - "I'll either play over you, around you or through you, you take your pick."
