| Excellent staff. The course starts out mostly straight (and challengingly long enough), with a few wrinkles in the first nine, but the back gives you a bit more variety. The 10th is short but very narrow and hilly, and with a dogleg right. Then, there are the 15th and the 17th which play almost identically, but for the driver-loving long hitters, beware the water on 17. I would go with a 3-wood, right for the flag marker on the fairway. Risk and reward do not match there...I guess you will need to see for yourself.
Overall, an enjoyable experience. Just needs a better 19th hole with some suds...Hear that Somerset Council Lords? |
