Catails is a beautiful and well maintained links-style course, and my favorite in this area. The course has a challenging layout that rewards good game management and accurate hitting, and the greens are difficult but in great condition. It is possible for a high-handicapper or a wild hitter to lose several balls here, but the scenery and challenge make it well worth its relatively modest cost for seniors on weekdays.

Mt. Adams Country Club
"A great fun course with a fun group of members"
Found this course a real enjoyment to play. The greens are fairly fast and challenging. Course was not overly difficult to walk. The layout was good. The back nine (9) has two par 5's back to back that will separate the 'men from the boys'. I played several days in a row and was accepted by the Men's club like a member. Looking forward to playing this course again this summer. Don't let its apperance fool you. This course is not flat..Play good course management.

Aside from this course being played regularly by Chandler Harper (PGA hall of famer), City Park has a great youth program practically year round. Also, the course is always in great shape and, although, it is a very short 9-hole course, it is very challenging.
