the rough needs mowed. the greens need some work due to tons of ball marks. the course could be made harder wirh bunkers put into the fairways.

Covington's clubhouse is typically smoke-filled, the golf carts are worn out, and the tee boxes are well used. The course is so poorly kept that it is easy to lose a ball in the fairway. The areas where there should be water are typically empty. This could be a beautiful course, it has a nice location on the Missouri River, but it is poorly maintained. A drive to the 9 hole course in Ponca,NE is a better bet!

Covington Links is a very nice course with narrow fairways and a challenging front nine. Course is amazing except for the fact that it is very hard to find your ball late in the year even in fairways b/c of the leaves. Other than that price is very reasonable.
