Blue Rock Golf Course

This is an enjoyable par 3 course. It has mature tree lined, tight fairways and fast greens. The terrain is basically rolling, but there are some hills. There are five holes that require shots over water. There are no slope or course ratings available. The ladies' par is actually 55. Here are some quotes from leading publications: from "Sports Illustrated," ". . . the country's finest par-3, most golfers can use all their clubs including the driver." From "Golf World," "Blue Rock is an absolute gem. Bring along a camera for it's hilly terrain and wooden bridges." Lastly, from "Endless Vacations," ". . . dubbed the finest par-3 in America. An exquisite 18-hole, par-3 stretch, 26-year-old Blue Rock is highly manicured . . . ."

Championship Par 3 course, Jan 01, 2007 |

| Blue Rock is the premier Par 3 course in New England. This is a course that the entire family can play or that a low handicap group can use to fine tune their irons. Also, you can make it around in under 3 hours if you have an earlier tee time. The rates are a little high for a course that doesn't let you hit your driver but the quality of the course and greens make up for that. |
