This links-style course has large, undulating greens that are well guarded by a wealth of sand bunkers. The greens are well-maintained year-round. The fairways are fairly forgiving, with the exception of a couple of holes on the back nine. There is a lot of mounding on the fairways. The new grass is much thicker and durable. Golfers have remarked that this course is very challenging and offers a great variety of play for all levels.

Nice track, Apr 15, 2004

Put a third wedge in your bag for this course. It is short enough that most of your second shots will be inside 140 yards. Three of the par 5's are reachable in 2 with a good drive. Greens are nice, and hold shots really well. Lots of undulation, and average roll speed.

Beverly Golf & Tennis Club
"Declining conditions"
Having played this course over the last ten years, I can't help but be dismayed by the declining conditions. It is a classic course that was consistently enjoyable until the last two years. In this time, the course condition, length of rounds and restaurant amenities have all gone downhill. I hope that they can turn this around because it is no longer worth the greens fee that they charge.

"Solid Golf Course"
I play 100+ rounds/yr and live near Waverly Woods. Although the area I live in is rich with top notch courses, this is one I play a lot. Weekend pricing is a bit much but a good twi-night value. Very solid course with few weak holes other than #10.
