Designer Keith Foster has thoughtfully incorporated the local terrain into the layout of this course. The course meanders up a plateau creating spectacular views of the Reno-Sparks area from each hole. Five sets of tees are available to accommodate golfers of all handicaps, and total yardage is 6,849 yards from the tips. The course is scheduled to host the annual Atlantis Senior Classic Golf Tournament.

Plenty of room off the tee, really tough around the greens. Lot of undulation. If you are on the wrong side or level of the green, 3 putt city. Nice shape and fun layout all around.

This course has everything the average golfer is looking for. Scenery, challenging shotmaking, beautifully manicured fairways, and the best conditioned greens I have putted on in Northern Nevada. This course is a must play when you travel to Reno/Lake Tahoe.

I dont know exactly what "Troon golf" is. But, I do know this course has a few elevated T boxes that make the whole LOOK a lot easier than it is. Bring extra balls.
