With the addition of new tee boxes over the past few years, Root River Country Club offers a variety of choices to play a number of holes differently. With the Root River winding through the course, it is a challenging course for players of all skill levels. Visit this beautiful course 5 miles south of Spring Valley, you won't be disappointed!

Turkey Creek Golf Club
"I like this course"
Turkey Creek is a well maintained golfer friendly course. The course is a links type course with refreshment machines between the 8th green and 9th tee box. The course has a gentle rolling terrain with numerous water hazards and a few well placed sand traps. It will be worth the drive from any where to play this course.

Ridge Country Club
"Ridge C.C. Review"
Ridge may not be a very long course, its only 6200 from the tips but its tricky. All of the holes are very narrow making accuracy important. Also, most of the greens are tiny and very difficult to hold because they are the fastest greens on the south side of Chicago. The course superintendent, Gary Galecki, deserves a lot of credit because the course is not just in good shape, its immaculate. This course is a treat for any golfer regardless of skill level.

A nice course, good value for under $20.00 each, not much more on weekends. Not much standing water for a Western Washington course in the winter.
