A Jewel in Springboro, Jun 07, 2007 |

| Jack Ortman served as the architect of this wonderful layout. Jack was active in the PGA of America as the premier Club Professional in Southwest Ohio. His peers were the greats of the game in the late 50's and early 60's. Jack left this course as his legacy and it remains nearly 6900 yards from this tips. The Lomann Company of Illinois changed the layount on numbers #2, #3, #9 and number #10 during 2004 & 2005. This brought continued challenges of more doglegs, water and elevated tees to Sycamore Creek CC. Many Thanks to the Historical Committee and Ben Sproat for this information on a great golf experience in Northern Warren County. |

| Nestled within the rolling hills of scenic Springboro Ohio, Sycamore Creek Country Club opened in the spring of 1959 as a golf, swim, tennis and horse stable serving the rural members of Dayton Country Club. The par-72 course, designed by the reknown Jack Ortman, was named one of the “Top 5" courses in the Greater Dayton Area. Sycamore Creek continues to receive rave reviews from golfers of all skill levels. |

| Sycamore Creek Country Club has 18 great holes of golf, challenging for anyone's skill level. I recently had the opportunity to play in an event and attend a banquet at Sycamore and count it among the best events I have played in. |

| Thanks to the fine staff at SCCC, I was invited to play this Jack Ortman layout during my tour of the Greater Dayton Ohio Area. The course at Sycamore Creek combines many classic golf hole architectures including elevated tees, perfectly groomed bunker surrounds and challenging water lined fairways. I had a Blast! Thanks once again. AC |

One of the best courses in Miami Valley, Apr 26, 2004 |
| reviewer: Matt
from Dayton, Ohio |
| Even though this is course is somewhat short, it is one of the most challenging courses you'll play in the Miami Valley. This course rewards accurate driving and shot-shaping approaches. Great placement of bunkers, tees and greens are engulfed by trees, and some of the quickest, true-rolling greens around (greens roll at @ 10-13 on the Stimp, depending on time of year). The $3 million renovation is only making this course better, especially the bunkers and greens surround. The renovation is bringing more water into play and revising some of the "stupid" holes once there. Once completed, this course will be compared to NCR South, which is arguably the best course in the Miami Valley. Overall, it's is a great test of golf and one of the best deals if you get the chance to play. |

Great Course!, Apr 17, 2004 |

| This course was pretty decent last year, but now they have begun serious renovation (millions of dollars) and it is beginning to look gorgeous. The new bunkers are some of the most beautiful bunkers I have ever seen. The maintenance staff is incredible and always have the course looking top notch. |
