The club personnel claim that this is one of the ten oldest courses in the United States. Otsego Lake is located on the southwest end of the course, and water hazards come into play on holes #5 and #9, both par 3's. This club was originally founded in 1894 and has been listed by the USGA as one of the first 100 clubs established in the U.S. It was also recognized in "GOLF Magazine's" 1995 list of "The First 100 Clubs in America."

being one of the 1st courses in the country, it was challenging, and absolutely gorgeous. the 1st and 9th play along historic otsego lake. there is only one par 5, and the course is less than 3000 yards. but it is worth every cent you pay. #3 is a strong par 4.
