This course was designed using the natural terrain, including a creek and mature trees. Polecat Creek runs through much of the course. There are water hazards on twelve holes and many sand bunkers come into play. The greens on the course are undulating, which is unusual for this part of the country. Wildlife is abundant throughout the course. All of the tees, with the exception of the championship tees, have a slope and course rating for men and ladies.

| Great course. There is room to spray it around but to score well you have to be in the right spots. There are several do or die shots out there though, no. 8 would be one. All in all a great course at a reasonable rate. |

Panther Creek is tough, Jul 09, 2004 |

| This course is long and somewhat hilly. The terrain consists of several ponds and a creek that runs through the course. There is a par three that plays over a small water hazard with a steep backdrop on the backside. Number 9 is the toughest par 5 on the course. It winds around a hill and is bordered by a creek which you have to cross on your 2nd or 3rd shot. Tee shots have to be accurate and long in order to reach greens in regulation. The greens were slow but well maintained. The front 9 is tougher than the back. Overall, this is the best public course in the area, and the price is very reasonable. |
