This course has two distinct personalities. The front nine is links-style, while the back nine has a more conventional, tree-lined layout. The rolling fairways vary from wide and forgiving to narrow and demanding. Heavy rough is present throughout the entire course. The signature hole is #9, a 473-yard, par 4, featuring a creek flowing along the right side of the fairway and a green protected by a pair of bunkers to the left.

Fun, yet a good challenge, May 16, 2006 |

| A good challenge awaits you as you head out for your round at Rivercut. There are so many "little" hills all over the course and sand comes into play on about every hole. The grass was great - it was like having a tee in the fairway. The pace of play was good, and everyone we talked with seemed pretty nice. Watch out for #10 - it's a very long par 5. |

| This course is a private course that was made for the public. I have played many of the private courses in town and River Cut is right up there with them. It is difficult in many ways with water everywhere. Longball hitters will have a challenge with the two or three 530+ yard par 5's. The greens are large and most are multi leveled. Dont hit too far off the fairway or your ball is either in the river, a creek, a pond, or the 2 foot tall weeds. Good luck. |

tough but fair, Apr 15, 2004 |

| this course is a challenge to all golfers. has hosted state tourneys in past. good layout with some average length par 4's. par 5's can be rough due to length (610 yrds from black tees on #10). greens in good shape this year. will play long especially in cool wet weather as course can hold water and makes fairways soft. |

Peaceful Retreat, Apr 01, 2004 |

| Rivercut is a peaceful retreat. At least that's how you should look at it. It is a beautiful course and is hidden quite well in the Ozark hills. If you hit it long you better hit it straight or you may be restocking your bag after the front nine. Overall this course can be tough but it is one of the most beautifully maintained public courses I have ever seen. Reasonably priced too. This is one course you need to play at least once in your life |
