This family-owned and operated course extended from nine to eighteen holes in October, 1996. The course was built on flat terrain and the fairways are wide open. The greens are medium-sized and loaded with undulation. Water hazards (ponds) come into play on several holes. The signature hole is #5, a 443-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot to a dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot over water to the green.

| All in all you get your moneys worth at Ferguson. The course looks as though it does not get to much play as there were not cart paths on some of the holes on the front and you just rode right on the fairway. The fairways are wide open allowing some mishits. Ponds are placed in such a way that water does come into play and creates some challagnging shots. Greens were a little harry but you could deal with them. The monster 600 yard par 5 was interesting. Staff was real nice and beer was cheap (selling point for me) at only 6 dollars for a 6 pack. Good place to go with friends where you do not want to worrry about pace of play. All in all the couse is average but we had a good time. |
