In general, this course is fairly easy for the average player, however the greens can be treacherous. The fairways are sloping providing some uneven lies. There is water that comes into play on a few holes, and sand bunkers spread throughout the course.

I had a blast at Stamford golf course, definatly my choice for a return visit when in Delaware couty. The course was in great shape and challenging and the staff at the pro shop were very courteous and helpful.

Royal Oak Resort & Golf Club
"More for Less"
Royal Oak is hidden gem. It offers more golf for less money than any other course in the area. This Dick Wilson designed track has elevation changes and terrain not found on many Florida courses. Sadly, it needs an influx of cash to add to its rating. The two biggest problems that I see are the lack of sand in the bunkers and the club house in need of renovation. You will find the course a great value and the staff congenial.

Rock at Woodmoor, The
"The best course I've ever played."
This course is wonderful. I have a summertime home up on Drummond Island, and I play the rock every chance I get. It's just great, it captures the wonderful essence of the Island in a golf course. It's just a great place to be. You feel so alive, in the early summer morning being on this course. Plus the golf aspect is also great. It's a bit of a challenge, but when you're at the rock, you love the challenge. I guarantee, that unless you play the courses on the PGA tour, that the rock will be the best golf experience of your life.
