The number one handicap hole is #3, a 365-yard, par 4, requiring an accurate tee shot up a fairway that slopes to the left and narrows as you approach the green. Poor golf etiquette, Jul 20, 2008

We played on Saturday and followed a ninesome. Rude, unknowing of golf rules and etiquette, and could barley play the game. What a terrible experiance on a rather nice rural golf course. The member I played with indicated this is a regular occurance. Amazing and discusting.

This course is quite enjoyable to play. While length is not much of a factor, it plays much tighter than it appears. It is a fun course, and one that will test your risk/reward skills. The course is well developed, and very hilly. I would suggest that you ride while playing this course as well. This course is one that I wouldn't mind playing any day of the week.

"The Best Little Course in West Texas!"
This 9 hole course is the hardest little course I have ever played! If you think the Links is hard wait until you play this bad boy! The hardest hole would probably be #7. This par 5 may look easy when you step up on these elevated tee boxes but just wait until you tee off. Thats when the adventure begins. The second hardest would the #5. This par 4 dogleg right is probably the hardest par 4 on the course. Of course there are a few easy holes thrown in just so you don't lose your confidence. So if you are ever traveling through Throckmorton; be sure and stop to play "The Best Little Course in West Texas!"
