This course has moderate fairways, with decent greens, but the most memorable factor was the design. Elevation changes on each fairway making shot selection crucial. A couple holes have fairways that funnel toward the green from the tee shot. Not the best kept up golf course, but for the price it's pretty good.

alot of blind shots and a lot of altitude changes. Its definitely not a hit and run type of course. You better think about every shot or it could be a long day @ the links.

Country Club of Louisiana, The
"Best Course in the State"
This club is on an amazing tract, and offers great variety. The course struggled for a couple of years, but the greenskeeper was replaced last year, and it is in stellar shape now. Only one downside... you need to know a member, or you can't even get through the gate.

"Nice Backyard Course"
Their fairways are like my front yard grass, the greens are slow as molasses and the tee boxes look like a dog did them in. There are no twilight prices and no off season prices. The course is made up of mainly par 3's and 4's. All 18 is fun if you like to play the same holes over again. My advice play the back 9 because it is a lot more challenging. Nice course to kick back a few. The bright side is there carts are $5 but you might as well walk and get your moneys worth. But overall it is a prime course for someone learning to golf. But as Ferhty would say "There's no flys on that one", does not pertain to this course.

"Good Course Bad Memebr"
I played this course in January for the first time and it was great. The course plays a lot harder than seems when looking at the scorecard, greens were in great shape and fairways wernt too bad, good challenging ruff. Golf Course assistant pro was very nice, while the Staff was als nice the Golf Professional Keith Radar was Very Nice. He was extremely helpfull, unliek some of staff was very clean and has a great sense of humor. I cant wait till i can have the expeiriance to go back.
