This course only features one water hazard in play on one hole. However, since the tree-lined fairways are narrow, and the small greens are so fast, shot accuracy is still at a premium. Furthermore, the terrain is exceptionally hilly, so expect some uneven lies. Gene Hamm added nine new holes in 1962.

When the weather cooperates( good rains and temps) the course is green, challenging and plays like a much longer course!! All holes are challenging due to the terrain, and some very scenic fairways with mature wooded breaks. No GPS keeps your game guessing with yardage markers at 200,150 and 100 only. Fees are reasonable and for a public course, kept very well.
