This tree lined course was built on basically flat terrain, but there is an occasional mound that can cause uneven lies. The small greens are undulating and difficult to read. There are water hazards on many holes, and sand bunkers throughout the entire course. The beautiful scenery creates a very pleasant atmosphere for golfing.

Great Old Style Course, Jun 07, 2005

This course has been around for ever and is a great example of an old style midwestern course. More challenging than its par 71 implies, it was a lot of fun to play and its variety of holes required the use of most of the clubs in the bag. I give it 3+ stars.

Sandpiper Golf & Country Club
"Nice change of pace"
This course is a nice change of pace. I have played it every year for the last 5 years for a total of about 15 rounds. The water was way down for a few years and when it was the course was not very nice to look at. Greens are small and challenging. The course is fun to play and reasonably tough. Having a sand trap in the middle of a green is flat out stupid. That hole (# 15) is definately my least favorite hole. The par five # 14 along the road seems to always be in bad shape. Outside of holes #4 , #14 and #15 I like the course .

Twin Lakes Golf Club
"Hidden Golf Jewel In the Ozarks"
The Twin Lakes Golf Course is an 18 hole par 70 course with tree lined fairways and bentgrass greens. This is a semi-private course opeerated by its over 350 members. The course is open to the public on a daily fee basis. Visitors to the Twin Lakes area find this challenging course a delight. The information provided about this site on golfable.com is dated. The course has experienced significant upgrades in the last few years and provides a challenge for those used to wide open courses. Antelope Valley Country Club
"Visitor to Anetlope Valley CC"
Antelope Valley CC golf course is a fun and challenging experience. Wind makes the course play tough in the afternoon. It is realitively flat and provides the abilility to walk with little difficulty. Many challenging holes, several with water, and views of the local desert and Joshua Trees are great. The amenities of the club are first rate. New clubhouse, staff that is freindly and attentive, and quality food and beverages all help to make a great golfing experience.
