Great course to improve the short game. I dropped 5 strokes from my average in the first year. I found the members to be really nice and engaging. I can't say the same about the management. with the right management, this jewel could really shine.

Agree with Tiger's comment. Used to be a nice course. Loss of members and money and completely incompetent management have taken its toll.

I am a member of the course and love the fact that I can go out after work and play 18 holes. It takes a little over 2 hours to play. It is a great course for people with limited time and for beginners. If you want a long challenging course, this is not the right one for you.

golf course was started in the 30s.several local people of interst kept it going by volunteer work..in 1957 the membership fee was.$9.99. over ten there was a state tax.. beautiful views from most holes . of jay peak.. a challanging old 9 holer.. full bar.. no starting times.. small greens.. if ya break 80 your good.. excellent resturant.. you'll like it... busy on weekends..

A short, (6100 back tee), course that challenges golfers in all parts of the game. OB, hazards, waters come into play of the tee. Tree lined fairways encourage straight shots. Greens are guarded by bunkers. Some greens are extremely long and flat while others have ridges. Both elements combine to reward accurate approach shots. The very long par three's that require mid irons challenges the long game. Only draw back is that it's not very well maintained in the winter. In the summer a good test of public golf.
