This challenging course, which recently expanded to eighteen holes, is situated along the picturesque shores of the Root River. The design includes flat fairways with many trees lining the sides of the holes. Water hazards come into play on several holes. The back nine, which opened late in 1998, features many water hazards, several of which will require tee shots over portions of the Root River. Most of the greens are sloping and several are two-tiered. There is a 3.5-acre pond that will eventually have townhouses built around it. The pond features a computerized irrigation system that is used to irrigate the golf course. Many forms of wildlife can be seen in and around the golf course.

| This is a fun course to play to sharpen your short game. My wife and I played last Sunday, and it wasn't crowded. We walked in and were able to go right off the first tee without a wait. It has a variety of holes, par-3s, par-4s and a par-5 that will challenge even the better golfers, but not be too tough for the beginners, as well. The greens are small, but tricky. The new clubhouse is beautiful, with great views from the big windows on the second floor. Highly recommend this little jewel. |

| This course is one of my favorites! The root winds through it to make is very pretty and challenging. It has elevated greens and tees for variety. Mature trees that define the holes, ponds and backwaters where I have seen ducks, muscrats, frogs, cranes, and of course fish. If you are from the area or visiting the clinic, definitely check it out. |
