This course's fairways are tree lined, and on several occasions there are trees planted in the middle of the fairways. Water hazards come into play on many holes, and in addition, many sand and grass bunkers have been incorporated into the course design. The signature holes are #16 and #17. Hole #16 hole is a 182-yard, par 3, and #17 is a 394-yard, par 4. The locals refer to these holes as their course's "Amen Corner." Many of this course's fairways are dogleg configurations.

River Plantation Country Club - Augusta/Biloxi Course
"Challenging Layout"
Fun, challenging layout with recently reworked tees and greens. Course conditions a little spotty and a "mud-fest" if there's even a chance of rain. $25 weekday green fee is fair but $50 on weekends is a little out of line with other area courses. Some good money games on most days.

"Great course for the aveage golfer"
This is a first rate facility for any golfer. A great putting green and practice area. The course is an intersting yet very playable for the average golfer and a challange from the tips for the better player. Good tee shots are a must. You can get into trouble with an errant tee shot on some of the holes. The greens are interesting. Some are multi layered and were in great condition the last time I played there.

A great course with old world charm with a hint of Caddy Shack's great old golf course "Bushwood." You will be treated well and feel like you are on the Caddy Shack set. Not because the people, but because you would swear you where actually there. It really looks like it!! Here's to the Village of Glencoe for doing it right. Well done.

"Great Golf Course"
If you have never been to this golf course, you need to go. The fairways and greens are in great shape. There is still alot of room for you to get out of trouble. The best golf course I have seen in a long time.
