This somewhat open course has no rough lining its fairways. However, the fairways are tree lined, and the undulating greens vary in size and their speeds are determined by the seasonal weather conditions. This course, located at the edge of the Ozarks, has only one water hazard but there are some out-of-bounds stakes lining many holes. The course's terrain is hilly, so it is very difficult to walk. There are no slope or course ratings for either of the tees shown. The ladies' par is actually 38.

It's the offseason now and we've just returned from 27 holes at Tamahka Trails. The rate was very reasonable, service second to none and the course ... well this old cajun boy has never played a finer course in his life and may never still. The people made us feel as though we never left our home town. They treat you with kindness and respect, catering to your every whim. Let me tell you it was one of the very best golf outings I've ever had (and plan to have again). If you would like to experience golf as it should be ... try Tamahka Trails.
