This facility offers two eighteen hole courses. Both courses are scenic and located in the Stone Mountain State Park. These courses are home to an abundance of wildlife and afford spectacular views of the mountains. The narrow Stonemont Course features tree-lined fairways. "Golf Digest" rated this course 72nd among the "Top 75 Public Courses" for 1990. The Lakemont Course is more open and was built around a lake. Water hazards come into play on six holes. Both courses have greens that are undulating. The terrain is quite hilly, so carts are mandatory. On-site instruction is available at the Stone Mountain Golf School.

Having played from Florida, the hills are challenging. Great layout and in good shape. Greens were great especially considering I played in February.

I really like the layout and pace of play was good. Greens great! Especially with the time of year. It costs you $8 to get into the park and then greens fees to play, but other than that, nice experience. Lots of hills and challenges but not too hard.

Marshallia Ranch Golf Course
"Marshallia Rocks"
This is one tough but, neat course. Carved out of the hills surrounding Vandenberg AFB, the layout is challenging and scenic. Play in the fall and winter for the best weather, because spring and summer can be very cool and windy. Each hole rewards a decent shot, but plucks out your heart if your shot runs errant. Ice plant gives a new meaning to the word, rough. Here's a putting tip, 90% of the putts break toward the high hills to the south, though you will swear it can't be. The course is usually in terrific condition and the Clubhouse very accomodating. Green fees, equipment and food are more than reasonable when compared to nearby courses. This is one gem all golfers must experience.

Hidden Oaks Golf Course
"Hidden Oaks used to be in bad shape."
Hidden Oaks Golf Course was run down into bad shape for a few years. The course was never kept up in good shape. But now there are new owners that have brought the beauty back into Hidden Oaks Golf Course, within two years. Hidden Oaks it still young, but I do beleive it has changed dramatically.

Simply the best in worst greens, worst drainage and highest price! Can't be beat! Course maintenance? What the hell is that? It's not need here, cause crabgrass takes care of itself both on and off the greens.

Shawnee Lookout Golf Course
"Beautiful, Scenic, Challenging, HILLLLLLYYY"
I have played this course several times when traveling to the Cincinnati area and have found this gold course to be most scenic. First few holes are easy.. but this just to draw you into the ambush of trees, hills, water and rough that lie ahead. Very fun course to play. Nestled and secluded right in the corner of where three states meet, with views of the Ohio river and Great Miami River.
